Sonoma County, April 2003
In April of 2003, Dawn and I drove up to Sonoma Wine Country. We stayed at the Sheraton in Petaluma
and met up with our friends Jenn and James from New Jersey. On Saturday we went round a few wine tasting rooms
and sampled many of the local wines. The two that we liked the most were the Raymond Burr Winery and Rabbit Ridge.
On Sunday, Dawn and I had a look round downtown Petaluma which is about 100 years old and looks very old fashioned.
It has been used as the backdrop for many films with American Graffiti being the most famous.
Below are some pictures of our time visiting some wineries.

We accidentally came across a small Winery by the name of Ramond Burr.
And yes it was the Winery owned by the actor who played Perry Mason and
Ironside. His wine was good too !

At the Raymond Burr Winery, there was lots of Raymond
Burr memorobilia: the best being his two Emmys for Perry Mason.
