Seoul, South Korea 2003

In February of 2003, I had to go to South Korea with Tara, my Sales Manager on business. It was cold and snowed very briefly. Although there wasn't much to do, I was treated to an authentic traditional Korean meal. Below are some pictures. Click on any of the pictures to see a larger version of the picture.

We arrived in Seoul after being delayed in San Francisco for 2 hours. It was very late and we were very tired. We eventually got to bed (after we sorted a new reservation as the original was made for the wrong day. We had meetings on the next 2 days and we travelled around in one of the millions of Korean cars in Seoul. They all drive Kias, Hyundais, Samsungs, and Daewoos. Not a Ford in sight. We went to dinner on the last night and below are some pictures of food that was presented (but mostly not eaten). Thank goodness for Burgerking.

For lunch one day we had something called Shabu-shabu. Basically it was a big pot of stewing beef and vegetables. I didn't care much for it.
